Most areas of Impacts

At the moment, Elimupendo collaborates with two orphanages and three different schools. We place great emphasis on ensuring that the majority of donations go directly to our projects. A small portion is used for administrative and ongoing costs of the organization.

Elimupendo focuses on the following areas of impact in ist collaboration

1. The Food Project

Project Goal:

  •  Combat malnutrition and ensure a balanced diet.

 

  • Promote physical and mental development, strengthen the immune system, and prevent diseases.

Measures:

Weekly provision of vegetables, fruits, meat, and fish

Use of Donations:

Funding for food and transportation costs.

2. Excursions & Activities

Project Goal:

Creating unforgettable experiences to provide new opportunities for growth and offer a welcome break from everyday life.

Measures:

Organizing regular outings such as safaris, movie nights, swimming trips, kids' disco, art classes, and more.

Use of Donations:

Covers transportation, entrance fees, and meal costs.

3. Medical Care Project Goal:

Project Goal:

Ensure proper hygiene and medical care.

Measures:

Essential and individual doctor and hospital visits, provision of necessary medications.

Use of Donations:

Covers transportation, medical examination, and medication costs.

4. External Family and Staff Support

Project Goal:

To provide financial support to caregivers as well as to family members of the children in times of severe hardship.

Measures:

  • Ensuring fair wages and recognition of the valuable work done by staff who care for the children every day.

 

  • Targeted assistance for children's relatives facing acute financial or health-related crises

Use of Donations:

Covers staff salaries and provides emergency support for families connected to the children.

5. Godparent Program Project Goal:

Project Goal:

To create educational opportunities for underprivileged children through individual godparent sponsorships.

Measures:

  • Financing the child’s education for several years, ideally covering their entire schooling.

 

  •  Providing regular updates, including photos and report cards of the sponsored child.

 

Use of Donations:

Covering school fees, uniforms, meals, and transportation costs.
