Our Team & Partners

We are a German-Italian association made up of eight active members based in Germany and Italy, as well as eight dedicated project partners in Arusha, Tanzania.

Anna Dietmaier

1st Chairperson – Germany

Anna (b. 1999) comes originally from Regensburg. She is currently studying International Development. In 2017, she traveled to Tanzania for the first time and quickly formed a close connection with the Fruitful Orphanage. In 2019, she began organizing the first school sponsorships. Since then, she has visited Arusha every year to support the projects on-site and keeps an overview of all important organizational and design-related tasks within the association.

Sina Ouahyb

2nd Chairperson-Germany

Sina (b. 2000) is from Hannover and is currently studying to become a primary school teacher. She first traveled to Tanzania in 2018 and has been supporting the orphanage there every year since. In 2019, she met Anna, and together they launched the sponsorship project, which has since become one of the core initiatives of the association. She is responsible for managing email correspondence and issuing donation receipts.

Caroline von Mörl

1st Chairperson-Italy

Caroline (b. 2000) grew up in South Tyrol and is studying Political Science, International Relations, and Human Rights. In 2020, she visited her sponsored children at the Fruitful Orphanage for the first time, together with Johanna. She is deeply committed to the current collaboration with the projects and maintaining close contact with the children. As her primary responsibility, she handles all financial matters.

Johanna Egger

2nd Chairperson - Italy

Johanna (b. 2001) is from Meran, South Tyrol, and is studying Psychology. In 2022, she and Caroline decided to visit their sponsored children and help out at the orphanage through volunteer work. The ongoing contact with the children and the Fruitful Orphanage quickly became a cause close to her heart. Her key responsibilities include managing email correspondence and processing donation receipts

Lucia Heberlein

Graphic and social media manager

Lucia (b. 1999) lives in Vienna. As the graphic and social media manager, she is the creative mind of the team. She works full-time as a social media manager in Regensburg, handling content and influencer marketing for SMEs, and freelances as a graphic designer offering branding, design, and photography services.

Dominik Hingerl

social worker and social pedagogue

Dominik (b. 1999) is a social worker and social pedagogue, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work with a focus on community-based practice in Vienna. In the association, he serves as the deputy treasurer. Professionally, he works with adolescents and young adults in supported independent living programs.

Calvin Ben Hyera

Coordinates cultural and language activities

Calvin (b. 1997) is from Dar es Salaam and worked for a year at Lebenshilfe in Berlin after his Business Management studies. In 2024, he visited the Fruitful Orphanage in Tanzania and got involved on-site. He now works in sales and marketing in Freiburg and coordinates cultural and language activities at Elimupendo to promote intercultural exchange.

Manuel Martini

Treasurer

Manuel (born 1998) is the founding member and treasurer from Nuremberg. He works professionally in marketing. In 2020, he became a sponsor himself and got to know the chairwoman Anna. This led not only to a personal connection but also to his commitment to the organization. As treasurer, Manuel manages the bookkeeping and ensures financial oversight. He also helps to raise the organization’s visibility on social media.

Isaac John Sumari & Joyce Isaac Pallangyo

Partner Fruitful Oprhanage & Shine School

Isaac (b. 1982) and Joyce (b.1991) founded Fruitful Orphanage in 2014, driven by Isaac’s own experience of growing up without parents and a shared desire to give vulnerable children a safe, nurturing home. Together with their three children Stefanie, Dominik, and Jeaninne they transformed a modest initiative into a thriving community that today cares for around 100 youngsters, providing not only shelter and meals but also emotional support and a sense of belonging.

Mister Alexander Ndamshau & Madame Esther Mahawe

partners Intel School

Alexander (b. 1958) and Esther (†2025) formed the leadership team of the community-based Intel Vibrant Secondary School. Esther, a teacher of English, History, and Kiswahili, combined her educational background with business acumen to optimize curricula and manage the school’s operations efficiently. Since 2017, Alexander, a business administration graduate, has applied his entrepreneurial expertise to guide the school’s strategic development, oversee budget planning, and foster partnerships, ensuring the institution’s long-term stability. Together, they worked to ensure that the Intel Vibrant English Medium School provides not only high-quality education but also meaningful support to the surrounding community

Mister David Inzofu & Madame Oldasifa Mbowe

Partners Davis School

David (born 1964) and Oldasifa (born 1979) are the heads of Davis Preparatory School, founded in 2004. David has been active in education since 1984 and teaches mathematics and science in the upper primary grades. With over 40 years of experience, he is a cornerstone of the school. Oldasifa began teaching in 2000 and brings extensive experience in both teaching and school management. As the main contact for students and the Elimupendo team, she combines educational sensitivity with strong organizational skills, making her an essential pillar of the school community.

Tony Oscar Kaaya

partner Blessed Orphanage

Tony, born in 1988, spent his childhood under difficult circumstances in an orphanage in Moshi. These formative experiences made him acutely aware of the challenges orphaned children face –Motivated by these insights, he founded Blessed Orphanage to provide disadvantaged children with a safe environment, reliable care, and educational opportunities. Having been denied access to higher education himself, he is now deeply committed to promoting the well-being and academic development of the children in his care.
